WOCA products protect cladding, decking and outdoor timber on homes and architectural projects across New Zealand. Penetrating, water-based and low-VOC.
Premium protection
for premium timber.
Why architects
specify WOCA
Penetrating, not coating
WOCA works into the timber rather than forming a surface film. The wood breathes, moves, and weathers without peeling, flaking, or lifting.
Proven in New Zealand conditions.
UV filters slow colour fade. Water-based and low-VOC at 15 g/l. Successfully used on projects across coastal, alpine and urban environments in New Zealand.
Factory-applied or on-site
Apply on-site, or have your timber factory pre-coated through NorthTreat — eliminating weather delays, inconsistent coverage, and scaffolding required for cladding maintenance.
Why homeowners
choose WOCA
Natural-looking timber, properly protected
WOCA enhances the grain of your timber rather than coating over it. Cladding, decking and exterior detail look like real wood, because they are, enhancing the natural appearance of timber while providing a water and dirt repellent surface with UV protection.
Long maintenance intervals
Clean annually. Recoat every 18–24 months in typical Auckland and North Island conditions, every 24–36 months in sheltered sites. In many maintenance situations, ongoing care simply involves cleaning and re-oiling rather than sanding or stripping.
Water-based and low-VOC.
Water-based and low-VOC at 15 g/l. Cleans up with water. For more information refer to our safety data sheet.
Apply it yourself, or have it done
DIY-friendly with a brush or roller and a free weekend, with full application guides available. For larger projects, or for cladding being installed new, factory pre-coating is available through NorthTreat.
